The strange forms the memory loss takes (it&#8217;s NOT just losing your keys&#8211;I wince whenever someone jokingly attributes normal memory problems to incipient Alzheimer&#8217;s), the ways that personality stays and shifts, the frustration and denial pattern of the family&#8211;it&#8217;s all heart-wrenchingly portrayed.
