I volunteered at the Green River marathon<\/a>, a race followed by beer, food, AND ice cream (my kind of celebration!), and I was thrilled to see this food truck. I was tired and very hungry, and it was so good that I basically inhaled it without paying as much attention as I normally try to. Food service at a race is stressful enough, so I didn’t ask for any customization or an extra ball.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Falafel itself<\/strong>: Extra-moist, pale green, delicious. 8\/10<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Bread<\/strong>: Very good and fresh, very well-toasted, flaky. 8\/10<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Sandwich fixings, taste and texture<\/strong>: I didn’t ask to hold the onions as I normally do, and I’m glad because they weren’t acrid at all. They may have been slightly pickled – I think they were a little soft and sweet (but not cooked). The hummus was deliciously grainy and thin, which made the sandwich extra-juicy. Good lettuce and tomato. Overall super-yummy. 9\/10<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Value for money<\/strong>: Free before tip because I volunteered, but I think<\/em> the list price was $12, which would be 8\/10.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Eatability<\/strong>: Despite the juiciness, it held together very well down to the last half-inch; very helpful for eating on the grass! 4\/5<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Bonus points<\/strong>: Supporting a wonderful event! Great setting! Nice staff! 3\/5<\/li>\n\n\n\n
